Superiors should enforce the ‘open-door policy’. It means that the door is always open for teammates and subordinates to come in and share their doubts, stresses and worries. Every head of the department wants the team to perform to the best of their abilities. If someone happens to be suffering from workplace depression, it is better to maintain that communication so that the right steps can be taken to improve the workplace environment. 

 #3 Time Off

Every employee deserves to take a break from their job. Time off every year should be made mandatory where the individual can finally focus on other commitments and take of their mental health. Colleagues should help each other to take that much-needed time off. Even company off-sites and one-day trips help to keep the morale level at a high.

Workplace depression is very real and is a big problem today. Mental health is imperative if you want an individual to bring out their best at work and be as productive as possible.
